Just noticed that the windows go up and down SUPER SLOW, I'm talking barely, they're fighting to even move at all. Probably not enough power to turn anything enough to start it. I put the battery back on the charger, gonna leave it for a few hours, and we'll try it this evening!

With the key to the first position, right? No, I don't. Neither the external or the in-tank.

U should hear them on before cranking. check the fuses and relays. hook the battery up on the charge on crank and try to start it.

I think the ECU won't fire the injectors unless the engine is turning over, so maybe it is turning too slowly to signal the ecu?

I would also put 5 gallons or so of gas in it as the tank is not only almost empty, but also empty with old gas.

You also might want to jump the fuel pump relay to prime the system. There probably isn't any fuel in any of the lines since it was all disconnected.

If it's cranking slowly, your battery probably needs to be charged up.

I put it on the charger this morning, dial indicator was at about half, maybe I didn't leave it on long enough. It sat for about 2 weeks. It definitely sounds like a car would when the battery isn't charged enough, but wouldn't it still be getting fuel?

So, I just went out and tried to start the car, no dice. What is does is just cranks very slowly (not fast like it's trying to start), with a RRRRRR-RRRRRR-RRRRRR-RRRRRR sound.

I pulled the fuel supply line off the front of the rail, and no fuel in the line or dripping out of the rail. Also pulled the return off under the manifold, no fuel dripping out and no fuel when I turned the key, so the lines aren't reversed. Not sure what else to check.

Could I be totally out of gas, and would that cause this? I know it was very low when I parked it, I drove it around to almost empty intentionally, and the fuel light IS on. Forgive me sounding like a complete tard with questions like this.

I'm actually the one with all the metal working/fabrication knowledge (though I've taught Josh quite a bit). I went to school for it and currently work as a maintenance machinist.

The quality of Andrew's work is great, I have A LOT of custom fab work on my car that either he has done for me, or we've done together.
