This all looks soooo good. I love how it's turning out. I can't wait to see this thing done and at the picnic!

Your going to switch to the aluminum shift console while your in there right? I noticed you left the mounts for the sheet metal one on. You can use it but its a huge pain.

Yes, I will be using the aluminum shift console. I'm more of a fan of the larger earlier shift carrier, but I don't want to deal with modifying it.

Get the delrin carrier bushing too. Worked wonders for my setup.

Josh, I think when it's time to actually drop this guy in and get everything going, I might have to get you down here with a few others (Matt, etc), and give me a hand, I'll pay in beer and pizza. :D

And a party it will be. A pic for those who wanted them. Just waiting for a batch of parts to be powdercoated, and everything will go completely back together.

Very nice progress. Glad to see the bedliner turned out so well.

Since you have the trans out I would highly recommend replacing the detent cap. No 27 here. The old style is very prone to leaking. The new updated version has a rubber molded seal which works much better. When you go to replace it make sure the trans is in neutral.

They didn't replace it, but they did remove, clean and reseal it.

More pics very soon, Yan. Won't be much more to see until I get all the parts back from powdercoating.
