Called the powdercoater over the phone it is 60 per rim. When i got there and showed him what I wanted: lip, face center cap. Less than half a rim...70 DOLLARS a rim. Shit wad.

There is less work man, over the phone he said 60 for prep(bead blast) and paint. I got there and told him I will remove the paint with glass bead and make it ready for him. I also own my own blaster and have done lots of rims, last set was my Euro weaves.

All he needs to do it paint, and not even the whole rim like discussed over the phone. Just the lips, face and bolt cover. I said no masking just paint it like you would a normal rim. Only you need to paint half and not the whole thing.

I have three more shops to call, this was the closest.

Dave at renewed finishes seems to do awesome work. I have my centers there with him right now and he keeps me updated with pictures and I think your wheels are actually in the background of a picture he sent me. Did you happen to get a picture of gold style 5 centers in the background in any pictures he sent you? they are mine.

I didn't read the whole thread, but please don't paint them textured black. Just leave the textured out please!!! I wouldn't even paint em black chrome or silver would look so much better.

Not doing textured, but fuck the shit out of silver or gold. Over played and fucking ugly.(RS came is silver or gold FYI) I have something insanely better ;)

Here is the finished color, all that is left is cone style nuts and install the bolts. Does anyone know of a place for shorter valve stems?
