finally started installing the new suspension components. DJJERME helped me put in the front shocks, front springs, and 15mm e90 drop hats. it looks dope as hell!! He was a huge help and a top notch guy. I am trying to do the rears tomorrow (pending availability) but here is a late night teaser pick for now. I will take better ones tomorrow...also, I made use of my skidplate for the first time tonight after going over my first speed bump at about 25-30mph!! haha its been awhile since I drove a lowered car ( my e28 ).

so the rear springs were finally installed and it is going to les schwab to get everything realigned tomorrow.

The car is currently in Portland and I am back at school in Salem so these are the pictures that I have to work with right now. I'll take better ones this weekend when I finally get the car back.

thinking about getting new wheels for the car...

                Option 1:
I found some Borbet Type T's 16x7.5 that I like a lot but the tread on the wheels is said to only be good for about another year. With that said, I might be able to get them for about $400. Deal???

                Option 2:
For $400 (maybe even less) I can get some Panasport c8 knockoffs* with brand new wheels...the problem is that I am still unsure of the size of the tires (until tomorrow), from the pictures they look huge. Would it still be worth it to pick these up and sell the wheels and get appropriate ones? Here are pictures...

                Option 3:
PUT ON MY PATIENCE HAT AND KEEP LOOKING

I would go with the borbet Ts all day.

I'm leaning that way too! I tried contacting the seller about an hour ago but didn't hear back. Hopefully he picks up tomorrow.

borbet T's but try to knock her on her price!

Got ahold of the seller for the T's and they sold!!! Just my luck huh. I was about to go hand him cash today.

                        Question:
What do you guys think would look appropriate on my car, bigger/thicker styled "5-spoke" type wheels similar to what borbet makes, or more of a basketweave type wheel?

Ive always been a big fan of 5 spoke wheels. But I guess it all depends on what your budget is. The way I see it is why spend money on wheels if its not what you really want in the end. So just buy what you want and then buy tires.

that makes sense...the reason I wanted those borbets is because I haven't really been pursuing wheels but I found some that I did like and for an alright price.
