so I FINALLY installed the sport steering wheel (airbag delete)...r3v makes modding your car soo easy! I have already had the mtech wheel on my e28 so i opted to try the standard sport steering wheel with my e30. its cheap, perfect condition, 3 spoke, and I like the grooves a lot. It took me a few tries to get it straight but its good now and I love it! the stalks are now much closer to my fingers as well and I like that a lot. reading the guages just got a lot easier as well...here's the setup (notice the computer in the passenger seat on r3vltd)

well i put my car up for two weeks, it didn't sell, so i kept it. end of story haha. in the end i just ended up with a calypso on black 133k mile vert and i am beginning to mod it! haha...this weekend I am picking up the cross brace/skid plate combo from ejnight. installing it this weekend as well. changing oil i think. repainting the side trim. installing rear sway with new bushings? im going to have it on a lift in an empty shop this weekend so we'll see what happens. that should be done before the picnic...but next week I am ordering suspension!! vogtlands and KYB's.1990 325i Coupe

Well the whole reason I got this combo is to stiffen up the chassis and protect my oil pan. I have heard from everyone that the cross brace and the hard tops are the best mods for the convertibles when trying to tighten up the steering, and the oil pans are a gimme when wanting to lower your car. I would advice getting the skid plate before you go lower.
I am installing these parts either tonight or tomorrow but I'll definitely post back the results1990 325i Coupe

Hope to see you at the Picnic...
I am looking to order springs the week after the picnic and then shocks/struts the following week!! I might go to Rasmussen BMW this week and pick up some e90 drop hats.
O, and I am buying the cluster rings in the next couple days too! At the same time, I am going to paint the "tickers" red.1990 325i Coupe

Both the brace and the skid plate are made by ejnight. if you combo the two together the price is $400. Pm him for more details. Great guy and I haven't heard anything but good feedback from his buyers.
Keep in mind, I have read the the brace is more useful on verts and you won't find such a big change on a hard body e30. Do your research!! haha good luck1990 325i Coupe

sold my airbag steering wheel to KenC today. Then I went to the shop to install the cross brace and skid plate but I was given the early edition of the cross brace with the new version bolts so it didn't work. I'm meeting ejnight in the morning and fixing this.
Then I also picked up new sway bar links with new bushings tonight and I was about to put that in but getting the new sway bar in is difficult. It was getting frustrating and late so we left it there for the morning. If anybody has any hits i'm interested to hear what people have to say.
Tomorrow the oil will be changed. The rear sway should be installed. The cross brace and rear skid should be installed. I will be installing some random cone air filter..then i'll try to respray the trim on the door panels.
...AND I LOCATED $120 H&R SPORT SPRINGS!!! I'll be picking those up next weekend while I'm up in WA for the picnic.1990 325i Coupe
