Bad news: he pulled a chunk of metal about the size of a penny out of the cooling system. Ideas?

Good news: the car does not have catalytic converters, is exempt from needing them at all, and gets much less strict smog gas level limits. I have no idea how all of this is possible, but it is. Hell Yeah.
    Part of a thermostat??

Do you have some you'd like to give me for my birthday? :D

I'm hunting for a set of Style 32s, actually.

You bought a large P.O.S. my friend. Good luck with it.

Ah. They are good shoes. I think I have bought a pair every year since '04 or so.

If we ever meet, we should rub them together for good luck, or something.

Well, the wheels fell through. Sadface. They were 17x8.5 Breyton Inspirations, for 300 bucks.

Pics would be great. Let me know when you're going to redding next, it's a sort-of-doable drive for me.

Oh, also I may have found wheels, but I don't want to say anything until it's a sure thing. Jinxed too many awesome finds that way :(

^^ which front valence? I obviously have the US one, and want a euro one with foglight holes. However, it is lower priority than fixing the car to work correctly.

I am ok on the other bits, though. Heater works, oilpan is intact, coil is the same as on later M30-powered cars (and M20s).

Here is how you identify the ratio on the sideloader. I have an extra on a shelf that I could sell if you need a different ratio. I'll check what mine is.
