I would recommend something wider/taller. I'll be going 225/45 rear, 215/45 front if they make such a size.

          Thanks!

Not sure which brand. Satin finish spray can. Probably rusto.

Right on, do you know where you bought the led lights from by any chance?
Was it a straight plug and play?

Yes, straight plug and play. I bought them from different sources..ebay being one of them. I forget the other websites.

Finally figured out the tig. This is 1/8" aluminum on a powerpro 205. If you know how to mig, tig will be a lot easier to learn. These are my beads after my first hour or so of tig'ing

There are so many settings on this machine it's overwhelming, lol. I still have a lot of room for improvement.... Suggestions?

Did some cluster work. The gears just went bad, so I replaced them with the garagistic ones. My GF painted my needles with her nail polish ;) Turned out awesome! I also put in some black cluster rings.

                      Old gears

                      Back together....

                      What's this?

Where'd you get the black cluster rings? Cluster looks good!

eBay. They came chrome...I painted them textured black.

                              Thanks!

This will be turbo build part 2. I sold the old setup to a nice guy in Florida thinking I was buying an S50. I put a deposit on an "s50". The guy seemed legit. I started feeling like it wasn't an s50. He never told me it was swapped into a 318i. He gave me the vin and it was for an m50. He gave me the stamped digits near the oil dipstick on the pan and it was for an s52 he said. He had no idea what he was selling. I asked for a refund and he gave it back in about 2 weeks. I'd get $100 every now and then. Once it was fully refunded I began looking for another s50/2.

I found the second s50 in Florida. The guy was super nice and in no rush to sell. It was in need of a vanos rebuild (140k miles) and that was the only problem. He gave me compression numbers and they were 250-260...suspicious. It started getting shady, so I didn't buy it.

Kept looking and realized that the power I would get from an s50/2 wouldn't even match what my turbo was making. So I decided to turbo again. I will heavily document this so keep checking back!
