Today is ridiculous. I bought a new radiator cap because the old one was leaking/overheating. The cap isn't the problem. So I was going to run it around the neighborhood and park on a steep hill to bleed it only there are NO SEATBELTS. Haha.
This car makes me laugh.

So last night I got the idle down to spec, turns out the throttle cable was binding and also not seated correctly. It stopped overheating, it was the cap, along with the fact that there was air in the system.
Now my, hopefully, last issue keeping me from the road is, well, two issues.
1. There are no seatbelts.
2. The drivers seat is actually a passenger seat.
I'm heading to the pick-n-pull to get a seatbelt, I'm gonna try to use the newest BMW seatbelt I can find. I might need a new drivers seat if the belt can't fit between the trans-tunnel and the side bolster. It looks tight.

Also, I was showing a co-worker the progress of my build when I noticed this pic.
LOOK HERE--------------------------^^^^
A seatbelt!
So instead of spending more money I can just swap the seats, considering how they are backwards anyways. Then my car will be drivable tonight. :)

I tried using the circlip in the first picture you quoted but it got ripped off on the 5th-neutral shift. The smaller size of the 1st clip is necessary.
Is that acceptable?
Thank you for your concern BTW.
