Sorry, I ment the crank balanced and the pistons balanced to the rods.

The crank , the rods, and the pistons are only balanced to themselves, there is no balancing interplay between any of them.


1) crank balanced by itself.

1a) You can add the other rotating parts and rebalance if desired (flywheel, pulley, etc.)

2) equalize the piston weights to the lightest one.

3) equalize all rod small ends to the lightest one.

4) equalize all rod big ends to the lightest one.
