One of my favorite colors! What are you using for paint? Tell me its not single stage metallic, please?!
Nope. Two stage using PPG products.

Absolutely nuts. You know something special's going in the engine bay when you see a remote booster. Awesome.

You know, I'm a little pissed off about this thread title. I skipped over it because of it and frankly, I feel robbed! There's nothing "simple" about this build thread and God damnit, I want to rage against that machine!
Fucking brilliant work, man. Really inspiring.
Now that is hilarious... LOL

Thanks for sharing such a good build OP

nice work sir.
^ thanks for all the kind words. I just like doing things right and, even if it takes a bit longer, it just feels more satisfying personally in the end.
I am Norwegian by heritage so maybe that explains it.
awesome stuff. I'm in dallas on and off and was wondering what yards you were going to? I would like to grab some stuff for my project
And I agree with everyone else, I love builds like these where there's just enough tasteful modification and most of them are to insure rigidity to the 20+ year old car. Resto mods are the shit

Wow, great work! The car looks great! Can't wait for more updates!
Thanks for the words. They help keep your chin up when the project seems a bit exhausting...
Update for today
It's S50 time! :pimp:
M20 and the lazy auto are outta there....
Next on the agenda is to clean the bay, mod the front subframe and install the Z3 reconditioned rack. Then maybe next week get a jump into the remote booster mock-up/install.
this is a nice rebuild you have here. I'm curious as to where one would find that rear toe adjustment kit to purchase. Maybe I'm having an off day, but I couldn't find them with the powers of google. I think I want a set to fix the rear toe on my E21
