Painted my oil cooler cover today and my volvo lip.
Oil cooler only got painted becasue I accidently sort of knocked it off, and it needed paint. I just wetsanded the front visible areas with 600 and gave it some nice coats of trim black. Like 5... lol
Volvo lip got sanded at 250 yesterday. Primered today 2 coats, then wetsanded 600. Primer then more wetsanding. I then hit it with some trim black. First caot I gavemyself runs, but I wetsanded them out fine.
Right now cooler cover is drying and lip is outside for overnight, drying. Tomorrow it gets its final coats.
I suck at painting, I applied primer WAY too thick, as if it needed TOTAL coverage like it was paint. So my primer I only have like a fifth of the can left :( Trim black I have maybe half?Leave a comment:

Well sanded up the lip with some 220 grit today, and cut some of the tabs off... I slipped the box knife on one and sliced into it :(
Also the road scratches are pretty bad, but I think my primer will take care of thatLeave a comment:

Well went to the yard today, turns out my bestfriend throughout elementary school, her Dad works there. So I got VERY good prices.
Tan leather comfort seat: 6-7/10
Volvo lip: Pretty rough on bottom, but my nice sem primer and sandpaper will clean that up!
Door Hinge Thing (the part that makes door stop at half open when you open it
Window trim clip, the one that slides over two trim parts
M10 Valve Cover off early model: To hang on my bedroom wall
All for $55. A steal? ... YESLeave a comment:

I got one for like $7. Never put it on the car because I realized that it would look like shit and am just saving up for an IS lip.Leave a comment:
