Paint Pictures!
My clothesline painting rig
Wetsanding the Primer with 600 grit
3 light coats of primer then trim black
2 coats of trim black, then more wetsanding
I wetsanded the black with 1000 grit
In the meantime... I also painted my oil cooler cover... mainly because it was loose and easy to come off. Came out GREAT
I only wetsanded the areas that would be visible before I painted. No primer, though on the ends where there were chips,I tried to spray a little hoping it would help fill the chips. It didn't. And I also sprayed the primer after the 2nd coat of black. I never sanded the trim paint on this cover. Came out smooth!
Still am not done with lip...weather was only nice FridayLeave a comment:

It's alright, man. Everyone starts somewhere. While we all like to think we just "had it" from the beginning not a single one of us did. At some point in our lives our father's, uncle's, brother, sister(?), friend or mentor's have said, "Hand me a phillips #2" or "Give me a 12mm deep on a 1/4 inch drive..." and we where like, "A what, again?".Leave a comment:

Took me 8 minutes to do mine. Is yours located in front of the driver's side rear wheel or is it in the engine bay?Leave a comment:

Well today I got gas in my eye, multiple times. Impressed a bunch of 13 year old girls, with a pink moped. Failed at changing a fuel filter... wasted $14 on that.
Adjusted half my valves, Parker helped/did the rest. Also rode in Taft's S50'd car... hot damn.
Pics later...Leave a comment:
