Nicks m50 swap and restoration project

alright update time!

well went to avdance auto and got a few things, timing belt&tensioner , spark plugs, water pump, fuel filter, oil filter, oil, got a new clutch kit.

Dont have any pics right now, but i got the drive shaft out.. holy crap that thing is a bitch to take out at first.. started unbolting the tranny and then i realized that i needed a torx socket for a few bolts on the tranny and it turns out no one likes to stay open past 10:45pm ahaha! so i finished the night off by taking a fun trip on backroads in my friends boosted mini.. that thing rips holy shit lol.

update!

SO things have changed ;) My friend is selling his m52 to me and I'll be swapping it to obd1! that swap will happen in a week to 2weeks. . ( He's waiting on some parts for his s52 that he got). In the meantime, I just ordered blunts suspension rebuild kit and new rotors/pads! Next will be lowering springs and shocks/struts. I was going to do a GC setup but thatll have to wait :(
got "new" wheels/tires and a rear lip thanks to ill4noreason. (those wheels cleaned up REAL nice!)

Ill make sure to update when parts arrive!

EDIT: The m52 deal didnt fall through, I got ahold of a m50 for a little bit more, but half the miles.. 61k to be exact!!

Took the old m20 out, It was pretty easy taking it out!

well, this is where im at so far, waiting for my flywheel because i had to get it shaved 1/8'' on the back, waiting for my subframe from getting bushings pressed out and in. Still have to order a couple things. But itll be together soon!!!

update 10.9.11.. funfgan came over last night and gave me a hand with the rear subframe. So the suspension is all together now! next, installing rear brake hardline, (waiting on blunts shipment) and dropping the engine in and all that other shit. Harness connector is already made!
