I meant he and I are. It looks 1000x better in my opinion. And I was told that you can wire the antenna into the defroster in the rear window.

I have a head unit plus speakers all around, BUT no amp to power anything. I took it out last year (Sept 2010) prior to heading up to Watkins Glen...and haven't installed it since. LOL, talk about lazy!

Can you believe it's still at the fuckin body shop? Their work is good but they have been taking their god damn bloody time. Every time I go there to see the progress they're working on other insurance jobs. So I went down there today and I had to have a talk with them. They promised to have it done by the end of this week. I would not recommend this shop (Mike's Auto Body in Merrimack, NH) due to their shitty communication and length of time it's taking them. Not acceptable.

I will have updates once I get it back from them.

What were you using to remove old paint? Looks like a very sharp edge between what has been sanded/scraped and what has not.

The pictures that I posted were areas that had dents/dings worked on and was just the preliminary work. Since then the whole exterior has been blocked and primed 3 times and wet sanded. I'll post pictures of the whole process shortly.

Lol, shaved antenna here, and my car is at the body shop as well, they sure do like to take their sweet time...




Yes, defroster works good. Silence's old car had it and it sounded just fine (if you listen to FM). Just plug the center wire from antenna to the defroster with a female spade and unplug the other side of defroster.
