looking at this thread i dont feel bad about my e30 :)

I poured kerosen down the holes. With the oil pump and filter removed I then blew air down then seemed to removed all the crap.

didnt think about that, anyone got any recommendations on how to get the debris out of all the oil galleries with the block in the car?

in order to get the pan off i only need to remove the bottom cross member right? not the steering rack correct?

and yeah i know right? it is so annoying.... my paint suffered minor scratches from my family storing stuff on top of my hood/roof/trunk. and also bumping into my fenders..... i wish i had it in a more spacious garage to say the least but all of it should buff out in a nice waxing/buffing.
