Got the magnaflow installed. I like the noise but the fitment of it is alright, could be better.

What size tires did you go with? They look a bit small. :(

They're definitely small for the set up.

yeah I should have got bigger tires. First time around with this lol.

As for the muffler, it is kinda low but when your at normal viewing height, it's a lot different. I like it. It's as high as it can mount while being flush with the diving board.

I've been thinking about going back and doing a y pipe with dual exit, no muffler.

Just ordered a turner motorsport m20b27 chip, im excited.

                its +28 torque and +24hp.
soooo if my rebuild is still in great shape (13k miles since new) I should be having figures like 150hp and 198 torque, which will be a lot of fun and smiles for me :D also rev limits raised to 5300 rpm.

for $209 bucks to my door in two days, I couldn't be more pumped.

Its probably not +20 peak, most likely in the areas where it drops off. Still a solid area under the curve is a solid area under the curve

yeah I'm no smarty when it comes to power figures, they describe that the engine will perform more powerfully in the upper rpms, as apposed to lack luster with the stock chip.

turner states +24hp @4500 RPM and +28 torque @4500 RPM.

If its not as good as it sounds, I'm sure ill at least be able to notice it and enjoy the extra power.

Yea, 4500rpms is close to redline on that little monster isnt it? Get a 3.25 LSD and you will enjoy it quite a bit. I miss my eta sometimes...

It'll make a noticeable difference. My brother bought his '85 ETA car with a Dinan chip without knowing and we kept putting 87 octane in it and it was always lazy at higher RPM's.
One day we threw a tank of 91 octane in it and the car noticeably woke up at high RPM's which made us think there was a chip inside, and sure enough upon opening the DME, we saw a Dinan labeled sticker on the chip.

Considering Dinan is pretty conservative, I expect nothing but good from Turner.

so im sort of half assed hunting for a 24v to build over winter for a swap, but i'm also kind of convinced to just keep the engine with 15k on it, and slowly piece together a turbo kit for the eta over winter.

Yeah. Then I could upgrade with some s50 cams. A little hard to find though, or I could get some performance cams.
