Sprayed a little more today, just a door jam but it came out really well. I tried the clear that I bought to spray the car on this, as opposed to the shop's clear that I used on the wheels (cheap production clear) and I really like the look of it. I can't wait to get the thing painted

Another slow day at work today so I experimented with my window trim.. Everyone paints their's black, which may still be the best option but I was looking at a Cayenne GTS and noticed it had brushed aluminum trim. This got me thinking, so I sprayed my trim Audi aluminum silver and "brushed" the base with a scotch brite pad to get the brushed alum look. This picture makes it look coarse, when it really life it's actually perfectly smooth. I test fitted it on the car but couldn't tell if it looked good or not with just that section painted so I'm going to do the C-pillar trim tomorrow. This picture is without clear, I'm going to throw some clear (probably flat) on both pieces tomorrow and see what it looks like

I get a lot of stuff from them, they're fairly local to me. I actually got all my cage tubing from them for my E30 project and I have a couple of sets of those sleeves and adjuster nuts from them too, both on the E30 and the setup for the E34. Maybe I'll get around to finishing them up this summer, dunno. Keep up the good work, I'm watching this one...

Yeah, I went with A-1 because of that thread on Bf.c.. Although I don't really like their upper perches the rest of their stuff is pretty good quality for the money. I'm pretty happy with the coilovers to this point, but I'm not so sure about the rear with the Bilsteins.

As for MPG, not really sure, I don't pay attention to MPG's to be honest. I just go where I need to go and buy gas when I need to. I would guess it's around 17-18 though

    Great work so far.

What kind of MPG are you seeing with your e34 daily?

Wow, nice e34! I really wanted to run 4 9.5" M-pars on this car but these ACS were such a good deal, couldn't say no.
