One of the previous owners repaired those rust spots badly I think, but now it is fixed thanks to my boss.
I have driven 800km so far, gonna change the oil on around 1000km mark.
Then I continue to drive normaly, without reving the engine.
I will go for max RPM and full speed on the Autobahn later, after I have reached around 3000-4000km.
About engineoil I am using a 5w40 now, and I think i will go for that again, full snyth oil.
    The engine runs perfectly.
It not just runs better, but also sounds different, not so much in idle, but as soon as you speed up.:)
I hope everything will stay fine and it was worth it, it seems to me, to rebuild the engine.

Photos dont tell to much, and I did not make much photos back then when I got the car and repaired or changed so much parts...
I didnt even know there was such a big E30 Community, never felt a need to make photos.
It was really frustrating in the beginning because my car was just trash.

I will read through your E30s thread now and take a look at it.

I know the feeling when you can see a cars potential and the work to get it there. Great looking car, really like what you have done to it.

More pictures about it? And yes, I understood that it must've been by some previous owner. No offense to you. I've just seen those kind of "repairs" on too many E30s, and I know how much bigger the job is for the next guy who does it properly.

            Cheers, Jarno.

                      Ist schon ok so.
Noch tiefer, und ich komme nicht mehr auf mein Gründstück.
If I go lower, I cannot exit or enter my garage anymore.

                              Bought some M3 Evo seals.
I got the one for the front bumper so far, others are still beeing shipped, so more photos of the others soon.
I just modified the seal a bit, then installed it on my facelift E30, matches well now and I like it.
