I love it that 90% of the people on here ripping on the engine bay more than likely still have stock oil caked and cosmoline crusted engine bays themselves.

JayyE30.. keep it the fuck real, haterz gonna hate and all that jazz.

Amount of work being done is inversely proportional to how clean you are :p

Still, at least the interest is there.

The bay looks terrible, seems like very minimal work was put into prep work and you just blasted the whole thing with paint. Odd choice of color too but hey whatever, your car.

Makes me sad when people don't spend the time where its really needed :(

    Thank you!

I wouldn't call it "concern" or even much of a vested interest on my part, I am just pointing out that if you had a penis, people would not think your choice in color was so awesome. You can do whatever you want to your car, that is your prerogative; if you post it on the internet, you are going to get opinions and you may not like them.

...I still think it looks horrible.

This is a problem you will be facing for most of your younger years--attraction-fueled validation. You should thank the people who are honest with you. In my opinion, turquoise looks horrible and doesn't belong on any car any more than hot pink. There are better, more subtle ways of making your car unique.

Got any "after" pics of the bay? Did you mask anything off?
