Does anyone have suggestion for good headers that I should purchase?

California legal in an e30 = OBD1. Since an s52 is OBD2, you will either have to disguise it as an s50 and hope the inspection guy doesnt notice the extra 3 o2 sensors, or you can do a complete OBD1 conversion.

This includes OBD1 headers. They will check the angle at which the o2 sensor is mounted, so I highly recommend using OBD1 headers unless you want to have an entire exhaust welded up only to find out that it won't pass.

Remember, cali-legal 24v swap = +++Resale value. If you don't care about resale value or legality, ignore this post and get some ebay headers.

I don't even own a wrench or know how to DO ANYTHING related to motor swaps, strokers, suspension setups, welding or rebuilding wheels. I stay on this forum to look at the pretty pictures and jerk off to Asians hanging from engine hoists.

I pay other people to do the work for me or I give lots of head. So don't act like you are the bomb till you pay a mechanic with head. Ask the asian who started this thread, she knows...

So again you are right and I have NO IDEA what work in involved in tearing a motor down and rebuilding it back up to 0 miles.

Thats good you are going to stick around. We are very upfront about our opinions on here. I even taken alot of heat for stuff i've done or wanted to do on here.Hell, look at my sig, people probaly think i'm some big redneck LOL. But in the end, it's your car and do what you want to it. But be ready for everyone to toss in their 2 cents.

Lol theres always going to be negative comment to balance out the possitve. Trust me, I am a server and I get all types of extremely rude comments here and there. At the end of the day I am new to this, and I want to hear from everybody. Especially from you guys, that has done it for years. I didn't expect to come out as someone new and get all positive attention, Respect has to be gained. But Im very open minded whether it's a rant about how my engine bay looks like a pool/clouds, or how nice it is to have someone that has a passion for cars. Im open to every suggestions and comments and everyone is welcomed.

Yeah I think you're right.. Get going on the m30! Or bring the 911 out to the next auto-x.. Did you swap motors yet?

Fresh 911 motor is down to a long block and very clean, going replace a few rubber parts before install. I really want to do new suspension bushes and bump my spring rates up while the motor is out. That will happen after i finish work on the E30 that i have been putting off (all new suspension bushes, springs, shocks, cv boots, timing belt, water pump, rear brakes, and more. I'll be busy for a few days on that.




Jay and John, i hope you enjoy the lack of political correctness here on r3v and don't take it too personally.

r3v is kinda like an older brother, he's going to give you a raft of shit and prank you whenever possible but when shit goes down and it really matters he's got your back.
