Hey, that came out pretty kick-ass! I like that it's different :)
Regarding the Porsche booster: yes, you can use them with some modifications. You will have to shorten the shaft, and thread it an additional 1/2". You can use a 944 booster from 1983-1990, and I believe you can use one from a 924 as well, but I am not sure about the years on that. Tehe bolt spacing on the `83-`90s should be the same, and it's about the easiest one to mount.
Keep in mind that this booster (as well as the E21 booster, etc) will give you LESS braking boost than the stock E30 MC. There are cheap vacuum reserve canisters available (there was just a thread about this) that will give you extra vacuum. Here's one that was posted on a recent thread: http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performan...63010/10002/-1.
This should give about double the amount of boost. Otherwise, the pedal feel will be substantially harder.
Nice to see some updates. I'm waiting on parts for my swap (FedEx LOST my dang package!), so I have to live vicariously through other people actually getting to do work on their swaps!!Leave a comment:

I like the painted engine bay alot.
It looks interesting rather than the usual car color.Leave a comment:

Update 3 !
Hey everyone! How've you guys been?
So I said I was going to clean the engine bay then paint it ! I know some of you guys disagreed on the color I had chosen but I was very determined that's the color I wanted. So here we go :) ....
After 7hrs of prepping, cleaning, washing, grinding, sanding and all that goodies, you ready?

we're ready to paint this bad girl up!

(That's my buddy Bryan that helped me painted the car!)
I didn't want to mess up and sure as hell isn't familiar enough to play with paint hence I got Bryan , that did his own car and is a professional painter for houses as well :D

FINISH PRODUCT.....
are you excited to see this?!

Huge thanks to Bryan that did an awesome job on the paint , John's mom & dad for helping me choose the color:) it's breathtaking in person! I love it, especially the gold rims really compliments it !
BTW, I got my oil pan set and waiting for the mounts . And I need to get brake booster, would porshe one's work? Or is that pain in the butt to put in?
Thanks for your time,
check back as I keep updating! Thanks!

Remember the old days when Blunt would weigh in. Sigh. I miss those days... Let me email him. I could use a epic post from him to cheer up the long day.Leave a comment:
