John aka Forced said my timing might be off and causing throttle assisted starts. So tomorrow I am going to remove my radiator and check the bottom timing marks.

I am betting it is man, I am removing my rad tomorrow and setting the crank TDC and checking the cam timing marks to be 100% and rule it out or repair the slight off timing.

I had the Schrick 288 with ireland oversize valves and ran it about 500 miles with the stock fuel pump setup with no obvious fuel issues.

However, I appreciate both low e30's and more functional track cars. It's the mega stretch, poke and camber I don't like.

Hello everyone! thought I would give a BIG update!!!!

This was a spur of the moment thing. Saw it came in to the junkyard with 138k and a sticker of good engine and transmission.

I give you my new swap for Polly!
m30b35 & 260/6(5spd) from a 1989 535

FrankM will be covering the wiring and I will be doing all the fab work. YES the master of the m30 swap will be helping with this <3

Long term will be a refreshed head, ARP and a ringed block. I will be just daily driving this for the next year.

Engine was dry and pretty damn clean, that is coolant & PS fluid that drained all over.




Big thanks goes to Sean(Swanny) for covering the additional cost of the swap. Work has been down bad and he stepped up like the great friend he is. Thank buddy!
