I did a little write-up on the Camaro rear shocks I installed on my E30.

for those that are lazy to read... they are cheap, shorter than E30 stuff, and stiffer than Bilstein Sports.

Car looks great, lovin' the RB's on your car. I'm not normally a fan of those on e30's

^ me either, but in a solid color, nice offset, and width they look real good... I will probably order up some custom spec'd Compomotives next in the same style so I have a couple of sets of wheels to work with.

^ Yeah I've been driving it lately to thursdays. I think my STI is pissed off at me (lol) cause I don't drive it much. I figured a first year STI with low miles is worth a lot more than a E30 with 180k+ and a salvaged title... so maybe I can keep a few extra miles of the STI if I drive the E30 more. Also the gas mileage on a M42 is awesome.

                          oh and these came in...

A local R3V member hooked me up with a door to replace the current dented one I have. The pic makes it look clean, but it is really stained and is missing clearcoat. I started working on cleaning it up today.

I installed this today also. The ride feels just the same, and it was just the kick that the front end of my car needed. $20 OEM mods are fun!

and a familiar image to all you M42 owners...

I like the sounds of them as an upgrade and since they're made by KYB should be fairly available/easy to come by.
