it would be very easy to cut out the OEM valance and then and then attach it with some custom brackets. its just 2 mounting points on the side and 2 under the brake ducts. Its an extremely rigid piece.

Too cool, Kam - love your car and build - the shirt Is sweet! I was looking at various cars to buy but primarily either an Audio 4KQ, e30 or e46. Then I saw you car on /Drive. Hooked.

Thanks for your work and being willing to put it out there.

Splitter ripped out of the valance today around 80mph, ripped several 8mm holes, it even pulled the nuts and washers threw the Alpina. redid it all with better hardware and bigger washers, shouldnt ever loosen again. too much downforce yo.
                      photoshoot went well.

The splitter won't do much with it attached to the bumper anyways, too much flex to transfer the downforce created. Attach it rigid to the body be either bolting it to the frame using threaded rod, or weld some extensions down to the splitter area.

With the splitter bolted to the body + to the subframe, the added bolt's washer to the alpine spoiler will only help tie it all together. I'll grab some pics of my E30's solution that worked quite well.

yeah i'll likely add some more brackets, it runs all they way to the undertray/splash guard and is cut out around the tires.
