Kamak builds the kinugawa turbos (unless I have that relationship wrong) and they seem very nice/he seems to have success with them, so as far as being a "knock off" I would consider it more of a brand that you aren't paying solely for the name.

^exactly Kamak IS a reputable brand they make the bearings for all the Kinugawa turbos and I WILL continue to support them as they have great prices, warranties and quality.

So what do you do when someone comes along copies an original creation and makes it better and sells it at a lower price? Im not saying this is the case as I have no personal experience with this bov.
