Bodywork and paint entire car-non BMW color. I restore cars for a living so the hardest part is finding motivation to start on my own project.

    New 15 wheels/tires

Fix electrical on car-small things like dash and interior lights.

    Install LSD.

E30 is hibernating in California, next up for it is checking why the hell its suspension is all fucked up.

E28 gets an alarm and super secret stereo inStall.

It's going to be cold as shit and constantly snowing/windy for the next 4 months, so all I plan on doing is a lot more of this.

See this here E28, the euro one? It needs another drivetrain from radiator to rear hubs. Not sure what yet.

I am thinking M20B25 since they are super easy and cheap, and this thing weighs the same as an E30 anyway, and the useless M20B20 has to go, and the trans that's in there has no synchros left.

Then of course eventually GCs, style 5s, and next summer, OBD1 M62. Such a godly sounding motor.

also, N^2, I know a ton of people up there in the Houghton/Hancock area. In fact MasterOfPuppets on here lives right in Houghton, he has a rally E30. Check the rally forum in my sig, his username on there is "Mike" and there are some pics very similar to the one you posted above.

Wow really? I know all sorts of the rally guys up here, never ran across him though. Only E30 in LSPR lately was Caswell's 2 years ago. Only have seen 2 other's in town, talked to the guy with a really nice ix, and the other guy doesn't seem to be a car enthusiast at all. I will have to get in touch with Mike, thanks a bunch.

What exactly are you repairing? I noticed some patch panels on the unibody, rust? I admire your work.
As for my own list, here we go :Finish Buffing, Polish trim, re-install trim, paint and install bumper surrounds, buy and install plate filler, refinsih wheels, front suspension overhaul, some rear suspension work, re-install back seat and door panels, weatherstripping, new windshield, new rear glass seal, and re-install the rear speakers. Oh, and don't complain if your garage is not heated.Mine has my dad's 75 vette in it. I know my driveway very well.

Well since i just drove my e30 to work and froze my ass off, my list is as follows:
                          Park e30 in storage
Find a badass heater (it's 6 degress right now not including wind chill)
GE group buy coils when they get here
                          Skid plate
                          New brakes all around
New wheels (i've got some staggered corvette salad shooters for sale!!! Fully polished!)
                          New front seats
                          New windshield
                          Hoepfully some body work, dents/repaint
Thats basically the to do list from now until late spring when i put the car on the road again.

I plan on enjoying my coupe. My M50 engine done and is all stong, no dash lights on, sounds better than ever! But work will be done elsewere...
-Maybe today ill start putting on the m3 harness cover.
-Paint! Hopefully in Q1. I have a newish valence in the wings. New fogs, "is" lip.
-Dash if I can muster up the energy to swap it out. Q2
                            -Oil change. :)

Cabrio? Well, ill take it for a run every few weeks to keep the battery charged. Maybe wash the dust off it when then weather in nice.

                                Plans:
                                Install glass OEM fog lights.
Buy amp and 10 in. sub and then a Lukebox.
                                Smoke tail lights.
Find a decent IS lip or a new one.
Splitter for the IS lip when I get it hah.
Try and find some decent smilies and smoke those as well :)
Oh and then find a '93 Subaru Legacy L Wagon that I can haul all my shit in. Since my E30 is my DD.

Thats for the winter. But will probably take longer than what I intend.
