So, I've mostly been helping my buddy Frank with his Vert, and picking up a new DD for my wife (a `97 BMW 318ti), a new motor for it (M50) and not much else!

Well, Lilo got loaded onto a trailer today to be delivered to a race shop in St. Louis. There she will be fitted with a cage (and engine and other assorted bits), and will begin her life as a Chump Car Series racecar.
My friend, boss, and now Team Captain, Bill Kniep, is officially the new owner of Lilo. fittingly, he is also the guy who be bankrolling the rest of the build! And it's nice to know that I have a guaranteed ride in the series!

Old, old thread, but I thought I should post a pic or 2 of where Lilo is these days.
Last year's guise:
She's been getting tun hard at Gateway and Road America. This year she'll run Heartland Park as well. With the series rules this year the car has been de-contented some, but should still be a blast!
