Nice corners up that way, 'cept my E30 it a little bit down on power and has worn bushings... Just gonna save for an E34 cause I got my hands on a full manual swap for one.

        You from the hills?

Dam to late but yeh I would have picked eagle on the hill. Maybe? lol

How is the V6 removal coming along? Would like to see what difference the poly engine and trans mounts make. Want to get some for my car but not sure on the stress on the chassie.

            It's no E30.

I use to live in the hills, now I'm in the foot hills.

                      Bike carbs on an E30.

                      Any body have an opinion/information?

I'm pretty keen to get rid of the crappy L-jet in favour of 6 Yamaha R1 Mikuni 41mm CV carbs, spaced to suit a machined stock inlet manifold and connected with silicone hose.

                      This is my inspiration.

Please, no talk of ITB's and megasquirt etc. I know about all that crap but since L-jet uses a mechanical distributor, carbs would work well and be a lot cheaper and easier than setting up ITB's.

Small update: Genuine 350mm Momo Prototipo. Gloves only on this wheel.

+ 1 internets to whoever picks the slightly visible CD in the door pocket.

Here is a picture of the Suzuki Swift GTI seats, if anyone was wondering what they looked like.

Swift seats look good! How'd they fit?

Is the CD James Blunt - Back to Bedlam?

They're welded on top of E30 rails, so they actually sit slightly high. It wasn't a problem until I got the Prototipo, now a good 60% of the useful gauges are obscured.

CD is an underrated classic, Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent By Design.

Only thing that has changed is front + rear strut braces. The rear strut brace was a backyard job made from mild steel and the front is a cheap aluminium eBay brace.

All the parts are here for my diff rebuild. Only waiting on shipping of a poly diff mount and my friend to get his ass into gear and rebuild it for me.

I got everything here, plus the crush sleeve which is left out on this picture.

Bought some 15x8 et15 wheels too. The cheapest new wheels I could find, which just so happened to be Sportmax/XXR 002, except with the new name "Nemoto". They come with black spokes and shitty chrome lip but I'll be spray bombing them bronze, which should contrast well against a burgundrot car.

I'm looking for this kind of finish.

This kind of overall theme except better because it's an E30, not a FWD econobox.

Yeah, I know but they're cheap and my current wheels were curbed and bent pretty much everywhere which is why they cost a measly $100. When I can afford it, I'll go back to proper mesh wheels. BBS RS are my favourite wheel of all time, until I try to clean them. Then mesh just becomes a pain in the ass.

I also have one of the 3" genuine carbon fiber intakes/pods you find on eBay but due to the emissions/pulse air/exhaust gas recirculation crap on L-Jet M20B23's I can't put it on until the exhaust is done.

This is the intake: Seems to be a generic kit that many companies sell. I got it for around $80 shipped to AUD.

For the exhaust I've bought long tube headers, 1 x 2.25" high flow resonator and a Magnaflow 14815. The headers are BTB rip off (Hot Tuning, Race Land etc). Can't wait until it all arrives so I can take it to an exhaust shop and have it welded together.

I'll be pleased to get rid of the pulse air system. It's one of MANY things that attribute to the 323i's horrible mess of an engine bay and judging by pictures it looks to be big restriction in the exhaust ports.

You rebuild diffs? Looks like I maybe inviting you around for a carton and some teaching on this black art. Just a note get your tires from Tirerack.com even after shipping they work out cheaper then what you can get them here. I got my dunlop star specs for $800.

How is the V6 coming along or out I should say?

My dad's a jerk. I had everything disconnected and basically the entire front end taken off the Camry, just needed to get it into the shed to use the engine lifter and he went and sold the car for parts because "it's taking up space". I told him numerous times, just help me push it into the shed so we can get rid of it but nope. So I told him he owes me the $200 I paid for the engine, loom, ECU etc and he was like "no, you should have taken it out". Fucking jerk.

Already have the tyres, they're on my current wheels, probably only done around 3,000km but I might have to look on TireRack when I want to upgrade to 205/50's.
