Has to be the same exhaust layout as e36 m3 from exhaust manifold to cat... then you can do anything after the cat...

About a month ago I started to here grinding noises from my diff every time i turn... Found a TSB about this and wanted to give it a try... TSB Explained that i needed to use a special fluid from Bmw...My previous oil I used was the Mobil 1...

Here is the pic of the car in the air... Preparing it for the flush

test drove the car and what do you know! Silent Diff!!!
if anyone has this problem with noise from their diff(Squeaking, Grinding, Ect) you should give it a try... but strictly concerning vehicle's that were included in the TSB, my Diff came off a 1999 Z3M but wasn't included in that bulletin, i gave it a shot and it worked great... the part number is 83-22-2-282-583 called SAF XJ + FM Booster
