I agree with that if the car is still bone stock or mostly stock, for sure.
This particular car I started with happened to have a clean shell. Although, the main reason I purchased it is because it had many of the spec parts (springs, shocks) on it already, and many of the bushings had recently been replaced. It was a great platform to get into spec racing, IMO, without having to go through the entire car with new parts.

      A few more updates.
I just installed a short shifter (no pics)
Also, I got all the roll bar padding on. First track day next weekend now that it's done!

To hell with what everyone thinks. Now that is out of the way,why did you reinstall the radio in a race car?

it's been a while since I have updated this thread. Here are some more updated pics.

here is a pic at the track about a month ago

I had to replace the rear spoiler. The one I had wasn't spec legal. I found an IS spoiler at the junk yard and repainted it.

I added a new front air dam

I got a new drivers seat, and moved the old one over to the passenger side.

One of the things I absolutely love is the new dead pedal. I think it came out perfect. It was entirely made from scrap metal laying around the garage.

Very nice build. Super clean. I helped Jparkr with his Pro3 build and I have to say this is very well done. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
Don't worry I'm working on Jparkr's Pro3 in this picture.

I attempted to shoot a single stage flat black. (Not easy to do)
It came out like shit, so I repainted it with rattle can flat black.
It came out better, but still not great. Flat black is a PITA.

                                Aclark,

You're kicking some serious tail on this build! I'm working on stripping out my Alpine coupe for SE30 duties next year, too. Can you offer any insights on how you went about removing the sunroof cartridge?

Car's looking great! Can't wait to see it completed!
