Your interior. Fucking beautiful. And I think its a swap. IIRC ALL MT2 verts were auto.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I don't think I could live with anything white on my interior. Ever.

But, that doesn't mean I won't tip the hat to ya. Great looking work.

Not true. I have all original paperwork and it was owned by one family until I snagged it. The vin shows it's a 5spd. There are about 200 of these in stick.

In fact there are other members on here that own them.

One thing I'll point out for the mt2 guys.

The deck lid and grille badges never came on the 92s and are nla.

I made mine out of door moulding badges from a 94 e36 mtechnic. The size is similar. What do you think?

They never came on the appearance packages, regardless of year. Looks fine. I would have removed the 325i altogether and put the badge on the right side.

Well all 92s were appearance. All 91s were the full deal.

I thought about removing the 325i but that's what it is and not a full mtechnic.

That's not true. There were quite a few produced in 91 as well. www.e30ic.com shows 100 produced in 4/91 alone and these were only the automatics! I'm thinking they made a lot more in late 91 which made them 92 year models and seem to be most common.

                From E30ic.com...

In the automatic VIN ranges that I checked, I also found 49 ALPINWEISS2 M-technic appearance and 56 DIAMANTSCHWARZ METALLIC M-Technic appearance. This should "bust" the myth that "Appearance package cars were all 1992" that is heard on the Net.

That page is some guy's myth.
My car was made in 91. They are model year 92 regardless.
Unfortunately the Internet is not always fact.

                      Right.
Bmw does not release this data. It's purely speculative and based on one guy's unscientific research.

                      No doubt some errors exist.

Count me as one of the 200 then! My '92 appearance M-Tech is a spitting image of yours, save for the all-white interior. A/C and power-top still work, too! Just picked up a new, OEM lower front valence to replace the old one.

I may have Kevin work his magic on my seats as well! Were did you score the M-Tech cloth, or did Kevin have it stocked?
