The white one was, fixed that. The black one is still an auto, for daily driving I am fine with it being auto. The lack of cup holders would have me spilling coffee all over my lap at 0520 on my way to work.

They are both model year 1991.

One is from Massechusets and the other is from Texas. Made a couple days apart by the date on the build sheets.

I like the lotus white. Racing dynamics green makes a nice contrast against the white though.

Both of my m-tech appearance cars are 04/91. One is white as shown in my sig, the other is black and is my sig at tech.

Thats why I went with the cloth too. The stock full lotus white is a bit much.

shouldnt a 5/91 be a model year 92?

That's a question that is hard to answer. I haven't seen any definitive answers in regards to how they do it. My M3 is produced in 5/87 and there are models as early as 1/87, yet they were all 1988 year models in the US for some reason. Maybe they took longer to build...who knows. Yet, my M tech produced at the very end of 5/91 is titled as a 91. In fact, I have never seen a full M Technic titled as a 1992 but I know of some produced as late as 6/91 or 7/91.
