Looking good! Hoping to have my block at the machine shop Monday morning for a general checkover, and hot tank. Not sure what else I should have them do to it. Do you usually have to get the block "resurfaced" or anything like that?
No I just cleaned surface of the block with this wheel that goes on a
Drill and it has little plastic flexible teeth I buy them at this local paint store
Il take a picture of what it looks like when I get a chance it's made for cleaning gasket surfaces but you can always use a sanding block that's flat
Some editing

When I decided to go stroker I decided to also use the original piston rings but I spent 4 hours a piston cleaning
The rings and the pistons ring grooves ect as long as your piston rings spin and dont look damaged you can re use them if the motor was good to
Begin with
I honed cylinder walls I just let my friend who's 60 do the hone Job for me because when you do it you do it by feel of resistance on the walls
Do basically put new bearings in kept the rings
Get the block honed your going to probley need to for peace of mind
Il find out what website you can buy the wheel from because I dont m ow many places that sell them
Il post a pic up for you tonight
But if you have any questions text me

I'm still a kid so you can text me whatever hour you want
