    IT STARTED!!!
Gotta finish up the driveline (CSB, guibo), slave cylinder, put my wheels on (hopefully getting them balanced and a tire mounted today), and it's pretty much ready to go!

So i've been very busy working on this and haven't posted any updates. So here's what's up.

Engine's in. Got an m20 starter to match my m20 flywheel. Heater core lines hooked up. VC on. The harness is on I just basically needa wire it up to the battery ad ECU, install the intake and hook up a couple vac lines. 4.10LSD medium case is in.

Got my stainless skid plate from Red46 fitted with the ejknight cross brace, installed a e36 rack packed with lithium grease with a condor PS delete. For anyone who's curious, the grease is not necessary. I ran my e30 rack with no PS and nothing in it for 10-15k with no issues.

Tomorrow it should be ready to go. Need to install my guibo and slave cylinder, tie rods, and pick up a new csb from Cabriolet because mine's ripped. Then just get my wheels balanced, order 8 studs I need to run them, and the car will be done! So excited.

I take it those bolts are necessary…hopefully there won't be any interference without the front acc pulleys there. It wasn't too thick.

Anyways, today i got my painted motor mounts, headers, and oil filter housing on. I pulled the harness off my old engine to swap over and labeled everything. I put a new timing chain tensioner on the new engine and a new cooling pipe, and installed all the passenger side cooling/heater core hoses (simplified to eliminate the mess under the intake). Only one pic for today and unfortunately I'll be in texas the next two days so I won't get anything done.

I've also been working on my style 5's. All are split currently to be polished. Ones done and needs to be put back together. Another is almost fully polished, and the other two are still just sanded waiting to be polished. I also got my valve cover and intake painted in wrinkle black, still waiting to put another couple coats on those since I've been getting home too late the past few days.

    lol !

If it's anything like an m20 those six bolts attach it to the crankshaft. The only other thing holding it on is a locating pin. Style 5's eh:D

Got a bunch of parts cleaned up to paint today, but it got dark/cold too early to paint em. Tomorrow I should have the headers, motor mounts, thermostat housing, and oil filter housing painted. I'll do the VC and intake when I find a place to bake it for the wrinkle coat. Also received my m20 flywheel/clutch/PP.
    Awesome GF helping out:

Flywheel and pressure plate look good. Clutch is thick as described, but has a couple little nicks on the edge. Will these pose a problem?

Ehh. I blew my m42 and don't really have money for a swap. It's not an entirely bad engine and I'm doing a few little mods to it like an m20 flywheel.

    Went from this

    To this

in a couple evenings. The plan is to repaint basically everything in black and silver. Valve cover and intake in wrinkle black with sanded ridges, silver oil filter housing and thermostat housing, black block, headers, and motor mount arms, clean up the alternator, clean the pan with either sand paper or a fine wire wheel and then clear coat it, and I'll see what I can do about making the timing case as nice as possible since I won't be removing it. I'm replacing basically all gaskets except the head and profile.

Does anyone know: if I undo the 6 bolts around the crank pullies, can i get off the AC and PS pullies because I'm deleting those two. It seems like the crank bolt would stop them from coming off, but I'm not sure.
