Full matte black isn't my taste, but glad you finally got them on.
Probably looks better with a whole car shot though.

Screw it, I'll re-torque them tomorrow. The lugs cleaned out the holes where they go, but I didn't wanna deal with stripping the whole backs. I got the wheels on today. Had to raise my coils up in the front to accomadate the lower offset, but it still rubs well before full lock. I'll get them re-pulled next weekend. Hopefully I can work the rear enough to go 1/2-3/4" lower back there too. Maybe up my damping and fuck with the inner fenders as much as possible.

The front adapters hit the brake pads, so I had them machined down. They clear by <1mm now.

Clearance...and my cracked brake pad from when I found out it didn't fit :/

Shitty pics because it was dark:

Flash makes the tires look brown and gross and the car dirtier than it is

And one decent pic of the rear from when I test-fitted them yesterday:

Small update with no pics. I let the faces dry overnight, then flipped them over and painted the barrels. Well even though the paint was 20+ hours old it stuck to the plastic sheeting I had them on on the lips, so I have to touch that up a bit. No big deal because I planned to dust the faces again to even out the coat. But that means that this paint dries slower than fuck and I'll have to wait potentially weeks before mounting tires.

And HAHHA that license plate is great lol

Will do, but why's that? I decided to go with oil rubbed bronze.
    A few thoughts:
FUCK whoever decided to skim these wheels with bondo. I knew I'd never get it all off, and of course you can see little bits here and there.
The paint is ever so slightly uneven. In some places its shinier than others, and i sprayed it pretty evenly. Maybe I'll clear coat them for a gloss finish.
I like the color, not bad at all.

Primed the fronts. No runs, paint laid down perfectly. I couldn't find wheel specific primer so I used high temp engine block primer, per the recommendation of the guy at kragen. Should be good enough. I'm waiting for the paint to dry now and then I'll shoot the backs.

Solid shift carrier bushings (Delrin front, nylon rear, tight as hell on both ends) and put in an even shorter shifter. Great upgrades.

And because I'm a huge asshole the color that F34R suggested that I loved last week seems like it may be too dark for my tastes now. Maybe it's been the shitty weather lately.
