I gonna take it slow for now. I don't drive the car everyday so thats a plus. Either way the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced. Breaking a pan will finally motivate me to do that.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Have you taken off the little cover to the tranny and tightened all the oil pan bolts? My dad's oil pan gasket was leaking, and when we went to fix it, half the bolts on the pan were less than finger tight. We just tightened them all (by feel, not even a torque wrench) and if it leaks at all anymore, it's not noticeable.

Well I've been scraping my frame rail a bit lately. I haven't been under the car at all since i removed the spring pads so i'm gonna have to get under and look around to see what's getting scraped up and what I can do about it.

And a pic of my car just cuz I can :D

What size are your wheels? Your car never looks low to me, purely because of the front.

They're 16x9 215/40. I guess the back is sorta lower than the front. I never scrape the lip anymore (not to say that someone who wasn't careful wouldn't scrape it on everything in sight), but the middle of the car is a bit trickier. I have about a finger of wheel gap in the front, so I may eventually get some drop hats or just modify my adjuster to fine tune the ride height.

Yes they are. I'm gonna adjust the fitment on them but they're likely there to stay. I kinda like them.

Hmm... Maybe its the tire profile size? Because I see the back, and the front lip and both look low as the dickens, then I see the front fender and it looks strangely high... Either way, I dig it man. I don't even hate the eyebrows...

It's the tire size and the fenders. To have the frame rail parallel to the ground, it needs to have like 2-3" of 'rake' on the rear fender. The tire size also makes a difference. If I had 17's with 215/40/17 (not sure if that's actually a tire size, but whatever) it would look massively lower because i'd be tucking tire in the front, and almost half an inch of rim in the back.

Trust me, I understand the difficulties of slamming with m42's ;) And on top of that you have vert rockers to deal with.

Idk. I'd like to think of myself as reasonably competent in driving a stupidly low car, but I've never had to deal with a low middle as much as a low front. I'm not sure what exactly I've been scraping lately (other than my muffler clamp that I have to fix), but it hasn't been from the front of the car.

looks like youre on the borderline to having some reverse rake there. thats some serious tucking you have going on in the rear too. but i can definitely see the difference in fender height between the early and the late models now. I cant see the very top of my tire the way mine is sitting and i cant put my finger between my front fender without it getting caught.
but its looking good man! im gonna wait and see when you rip off that front lip ;)
when are you going to get those spacers on?

Ugh I'm having a hard time finding bolts for a reasonable price. All I need are 5 extended lugs.
