Problem is I'm not running a wet shot if that make a difference it's a dry shot nitrous kit.

Why So? It says you can adjust your timing by (+/-) 20 degrees.

              Oh! Great :)

When it comes to turbo cars tuning you may need to retard or advance the timing in specific RPMs, with that MSD I think you can't adjust the timing in each RPM? It'll be fixed for all RPMs? Is it enough just to retard it few degrees and that's all?

yeah I think so because I was reading about this controller on a 350z forum for a twin turbo project.

you will be able to run a base timing with that msd ignition. and one of the wires that goes to the module is a trigger for retarding timing. in this case it would be wired with whatever you would use to activate the nitrous solenoid. wide open throttle switch or a button inside. whenever the nitrous is activated the msd ignition will retard the timing to what you set it to. and it will go back to base timing when the nitrous is deactivated.

I'm using neither a WOT chip or the fun button. I'm using a TC Window switch would it still work?

Do you if the installation for the controller is hard and to set up the ay you mentioned? Or is it a professional only job? Also are there any online DIY's?

That wouldn't do a thing. there's no points or pickup in the distributor to determine when it fires (on a 325i it's 100% electronic). all you'd do is change when it is physically able to spark, and probably end up with the rotor on the wrong wire when it fires...

Shouldnt be hard. The tc switch comes with wiring diagrams to install several differeng ways and so does the msd ignition. On the zex website, look at the tc switch u can download a pdf for wiring installation. Same thing on the msd website.
