Did some work on her before I drive back to CO. Was going to replace the front wheel bearings, brakes all around and put on the stock weaves with fresh tires. But, of course, I ran into some complications...

Hello old, ugly, semi-broken wheel-bearing/hub.

The axle nut was a bitch to get off... Ended up having to put this socket into the spindle to get a contact surface for the puller I used.

With the socket-mod, this puller worked like a champ.

I guess I need to order some control arms...

oops... I was dumb and used a hammer and block wood to get the new hub onto the spindle after my pushing efforts were unsuccessful... guess I'm only replacing one wheel bearing today. With this complication, I decided not to replace the brakes until I get both wheel bearings replaced.

New, pretty hub and ugly, dirty everything else...

Now I just feel like an ass with these stickers on stock weaves... time to remove them.

wat

Road trip status.

Also changed the oil lol

I'm pretty sure the clunking was coming from internal play from the blown inserts. When I replaced the driver's side one, it went away. However, as of a few days ago I've got some new noises... :hitler::hitler::hitler: I guess I just need to replace all the front suspension components.
It felt like driving a truck after driving around slammed for a while lol.
