Very little hammering required. Put a large enough bolt or screwdriver into the bush hole and twist/pull/yank it sideways, it'll break free.
-oh I see you already dropped it. Well, someone else might benefit from this ^.

I use a puller + some patience on those washers that usually are tight in the bush. Before putting them back I've used a hydraulic press to make them a bit curved/ cup shaped, like they are on M3. This limits rear subframe vertical movement. I've done this on two cars, I think it works.

Well this was a lie, probably.

Got some stuff done today. But, that half shaft is still stuck in the hub. We gave it hell today. Sledge hammer, torch, slide hammer, you name it. My neighbor said he'd bring it into his shop on Monday to get it out so we'll see. Might ask around locally if someone happens to have a straight driver's side trailing arm.

Got one trailing arm ready to be mounted. Decided not to paint them. I'll be dropping it all again in a year or so.

Pretty, new wheel bearing ( ◠‿◠) I bought the Harbor Freight tool to press the bushings in and out. It's definitely a worth while thing to have, in my opinion.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

GC parts sure are pretty when they're clean.

Also, here's how I removed the rtabs. I installed them with the same setup, just altered.

I tried removing my rtabs like that and I ended up breaking the all thread. So I decided to burn them out. Fire is way faster and funner.

slow and steady... you have to tighten it and let it sit for a bit instead of just cranking it

my subframe was rusted pretty bad. before I tried the all thread I tried a 20 ton manual press, only thing that worked was fire. it was not my first choice. glad yours came out easily

Well she's back up and running. FYI running no muffler is the worst thing in the world.

Put the muffler back on. Now I just need to tune the amp. And I need to order parts for the front. But, she's good to drive :)
