Thanks! Its overwhelming at times but in the end it will be worth it. The first e30 was a mess, all the paint has rusting rock chips all over, the second one at least is in good shape every where except the rust spots. So its a learning experience.Leave a comment:

Cool build. You are WAY more dedicated than I am. The rust just kills it for me. I have tiny rock marks all over my 4Runner and e30 that need attention, but the amount of rust you have to deal with up there is staggering. I guess it is everywhere other than where I live.
Keep up the good work though.Leave a comment:

Yeah i know im gonna have to mount up a late model shifter carrier some how, but ill cross that brindge when i get there. Does the aluminum block have a lot of different things or what?Leave a comment:

You might run into an issue with the shifter because its an early model. Not 100% sure if you will though, because I used the G260 that was already in my car. I had (and am still dealing with) other issues, but thats another story. I have an aluminum block M52 so that also has its own quirks.Leave a comment:

Okay cool. I think I have all the parts to make it work. I got the mounts from a late model as well as the late model coolant overflow and hoses. Did you require anything else to make it work?Leave a comment:

no problem, I had done a ton of research and still hit a ton of hurdles because of the minor differences the 84 cars have. the radiator will be some work too.Leave a comment:

Okay well if you get some please send me some. And okay great thanks! You saved me some time later on when I realized there was only two ports on the mc!Leave a comment:

I dont have any pics yet, but done right the brake pedal will feel the same as factoryLeave a comment:

No i dont. I see what you are saying, after you added in the splitter you still had good brake pressure? (you could still stop well). do you have any pictures of your set up?Leave a comment:

do you have ABS? if not, you will run into the same problem as me. Non-ABS cars have 3 brakes lines going into the master, the ABS cars only accept two brake lines. We bought a factory E30 "T" splitter and had the two front lines run into the "T" then bend a new line from that, into the Master. The factory splitter is under the car in the backLeave a comment:

I am going with the e32 735i booster and master, with the 2002 remote reservoir. Like this
(not my picture but exactly what i want to do)
From what i have read everyone has been happy with this set up, and i lucked out and got the booster and master from my local junk yard to it was pretty cheap to get the rest of the parts.
