Compiled a list of what to do to the car, I got some spare money finally, not much though

    - the one fog light is yellow'd and broken so I want some fog light delete panels
    - "french" the high beams
    - take care of the oil pan gasket leak and the transmission maintenance
    - my buddy has 20 extended lug bolts from motorsport hardware he gave me, so I will buy some nice spacers

    good article for the e34 m50 tranny - http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?t=54190

I have new info on trans fluid swap, looks to be that the dx6 is pointless?

So I believe my oil pan gasket is leaking, and we all know how hard of a job it is on a BMW I6...

looks like e34 is extra hard. Ive done one on an eta and it took 3 hours start to end.

Good thing I have access to a lift

i honestly couldnt even tell you what its doing. I would be lying.

Its doing whatever is on the bottle of some trans tune stuff, freeing valves cleaning out the trans cooling tube.

however it works way better than a single little shot of trans tune treatment. its more like quarts of it.

and it has a higher temperature range too for fluid thats burning. basically its both a treatment and its synthetic fluid its dope.

its all stuff thats been around forever but was always too expensive to use. Its like redline atf 4 and some seafoam trans tune at 1/3 price.

i buy and sell about 10 cars a year I have experience working in a used car lot for 6 years.

I dont have a job at the moment but i like to drive trucks.

I have changed the auto tranny fluid of like 6 cars this year thats my experience on that

I can even spot the difference between dx 3, and dx6 by feeling it. one is like this goopy honey the other is very thin.

Additionally, I figured out last night my tranny doesnt slip like I thought.

It just likes to pop out of drive after getting the motor past 4000rpm.

I showed my buddy last night the sound of the m50 up in its power band and after the shift I lost all power, and could free r3v. Dropped the tranny into "sport" and car drove fine. All the shifts are good, but sometimes it seems like it is not getting all the power to the wheels

I totally forgot to say that but you already know the deal.

My maintenance guy told me that, on the same car i did this on that hadnt had a trans change in 100k miles.
    neodymium,magnets,strong,magnetic,magnet,neo,rare,earth,NIB,supermagnet,neodymium magnets,NdFeB,permanent,powerful

These are for special high temp applications. I guess other magnets dont work as good as at high temps.

I wouldnt do it with amsoil. I actually only did this with auto trans that were having trouble and slipping.
But I am doing it with my rv which is having no problems just for long term.

3 drains is just for a filthy auto trans you dont know the story on. From there go to regular service interval. Or with dx 6 less hopefully.
Thanks for the suggestions Stamar. What is your profession anyways...?

the price of 3 drain and fills like this is almost the same as a full flush but its not introducing a whole bunch of dirt all at once.

It is a slightly more expensive way to go.

oh and the drain and fill recomendation with dx 6 is 100k miles, so if you did a full flush youd be good for your life Im pretty sure.

    you are pretty young though.

for toyota dolphin rvs 100k miles is like 20 years.
