*No thread jacking intended*
I also have a '92 E34 525i Auto but I'm in a dilemma should I use my money on a 5-speed swap and suspension stuff, maybe later turbo OR scrap the whole idea and go with a E30?
(P.S. The E34 & E30 are tied for my favorite 2 BMW body styles)Leave a comment:

then don't use billies, use konis instead. billies are well known for being too stiff especially in the front on e34s.Leave a comment:

Yeah, coilovers should have the spring rate matched to the damper... thus much better ride quality
Dont want to slam my car, just lower it maybe a half inch more than it already is.

Been there, done that.
And OP, start saving for the inevitable 5 speed swap. Luckily it is all bolt on/plugin and only 2 wires to switch around on 92-94 m50 e34s.Leave a comment:

Agreed.
Ya know, I heard quite a few stories about you 5Toes. I didnt believe someone could be so ignorant and dense. But you have proven me wrong with this thread. I say rust your hood, hack your springs to get low, and whatever other stupid shit you wanna do and go join those Honda guys you troll at car meets.Leave a comment:
