Few more updates.

Also did some work on the RS' tonight.


First I took out all the bolts and took the wheels apart.

Make sure you get something on those bolts to protect them man, mine turned to shit and rusted after polishing in like a week.

What did you use to keep them from rusting again? I've been looking online, but it seems like clearcoat might be the only option.

E30 worked fine.

Also to those with rs will any problems be caused by clear coating the bolts/lips after polishing them?

Dropped the centers and barrels off for sandblasting/powdercoating yesterday, can't wait to get them back.

Got the exhaust manifolds on and to fit perfect.



This is the "Y-downpipe" that will be merging the two headers together.



Rear end almost completely disassembled , just need to pull out the e-brake cables so I can drop the subframe.



Reason why i'm re-sealing the diff :(



Gauges Wired up - Left one is boost, not sure what It will change to. I left it there as I'm hoping to boost in the future unless I go down a road less traveled.

Last exhaust parts I was waiting for. Flanges + gaskets for exhaust manifold, SS o2 sensor bungs, and exhaust hangers.



80*c Thermostat installed.





New FAG Wheel Bearings for the rear



Hoping to finish up the exhaust tonight and hopefully drop the rear-end.

Just got off work and took some daylight pictures of the wheels centers I got back from the powder coaters. :)







I feel like this color is perfect.

Had a few hours today so I finally disassembled the rear end that I pulled a few weeks ago.


Subframe separated from diff, axles, trailing arms and bushings removed.



Trailing arm before.



Wheel bearing removed.



Trailing arm bushings removed.



Ordered from Blunttech :
-Rebuild kits for all 4 calipers
-1x Stud / 1 Nut for Exhaust Manifold
-2x Inner + Outer CV Axle Boots/Clamps/Grease
-3 More clips for my "I" lip that I installed a few days ago

Bought from R3V member:
-3.73 LSD Differential

Received:
-Redline Diff and Tranny Fluids



Next I will be cleaning everything up and giving it a new coat of black paint and then re-assembling everything.

Also brakes will be getting powder-coated then rebuilt. Not sure which color I will be going with.

Had a few hours today so I rebuilt the rear calipers and painted them.

Got the pads in today and finished the other caliper after I baked them on the frill for a bit to cure the paint. They're 100% ready to go now. Just need to do the fronts.







Put the last stud + nut I needed on the Exhaust Manifolds.



Still waiting on the differential I bought.
