Moving to So-Cal in a few days and decided to leave the car here with the shop that helped me start this whole madness. They started it, they will finish it... I tried to build up the motor as much as I could and get a pretty good amount done.

    stuck again by 2mAn

car getting moved, then waiting at its new home. should be done in 30 days

In the end, I get what I want, even if I have to spend twice as much. I didnt want to buy another car, I just wanted my E30 done. Im excited to be back to get it

Bought some stuff for the car down here in So-Cal. Picked up some euro grilles and a trunk carpet kit from a 84 so it is the correct one. The previous one didnt fit right because it was from a late model.

Now the waiting game... a few more weeks until I go and pick up my car!

flight is booked !! car should be mostly done by next week, so that gives them another week or so to iron out any issues

They should have pressure washed and cleaned that engine bay!

Im happy to clean the bay when they are done. It was really bad. If you go back you'll see the nasty shit that was all over the place. Too much time would be wasted cleaning instead of working

That's one thing I wish I would have done with my motor out. I put the thing in with my engine bay all gross and I've hated myself since because it looks like total horsedick.
