I wish the timing was better for the picnic. I plan on picking it up as soon as I can. I hate driving my brothers Volvo. Im going to be back up in the PNW for a week this summer for two weddings, and Im thinking about driving up there.Simon

Since I might actually be driving this car soon, I have been keeping my eye out for little things that needed attention on the car. Bought new bolts for the Momo steering wheel, 3 were stripped out and my steering has a weird offset spacer thing on it that I want to remove. Also got new tailight gaskets for the "new" early model tails. And finally I picked up a used set of IE3 springs since the current spring setup is a mash up of random stuff. I loved them on my eta and it will be nice to have a matching set.Simon

so, I had a busy weekend. This was Saturday morning before I left Seattle. Car was filthy, but fired up right away and purred like a kitten.

Not sure why the pics came out so crappy
And then I did this for about 12 hours...
5th gear pull...I think I had about 500miles on it at this point lol

Arrived at my parents house and gave the car a much needed bath, and swapped on the "new" taillights on the car. Basically gave the car a good scrub, cleaned all the crevices out.

Wiring still needs to be cleaned up amongst a few other odds and ends I need to do. Basically now that the car is solid and ran well over a 1300 flawless miles, its time to take it to the next level and install all these extra parts that Ive been accumulating in the last year.Last edited by 2mAn; 07-02-2017, 06:08 PM.Simon
