Suspension overhaul is finally complete. It was a HUGE job, but it was a lot of fun, a great learning experience and I couldn't be happier with the results. Rides better than I was expecting. Letting everything settle for the next few days and then I will dial it in exactly how I want.

So here's what all went down:
    - GC kit, 440f/650r rates
    - Shortened strut housings by 2"
    - IX Bilstein HD shocks for the front with 1.25" spacer
    - KYB Gas-A-Just Camaro shocks for the rear
    - Replaced front control arms
    - Replaced lollipop bushings
    - Replaced front and rear sway bar linkages
    - Dropped the rear subframe
    - Replaced trailing arm bushings
    - Replaced rear subframe mount bushings

    Cost me about $1000 total.

It has already settled in a bit more since this picture was taken. The ride quality is amazing. For a low but functional daily driver, it is perfect to my taste. I plan on dropping it a bit lower after a few days.

Small update, forgot to mention the other day that I did some general maintenance:

Scored a Nardi Classic 360mm on eBay this morning for what I believe to be an awesome price!

Also ordered an E30 Nardi hub adapter, will take pics of that when I receive it.

Took some more pictures of how the car sits at the moment:

haha totally. I just can't wait til the body is straight with fresh paint, then I'll be grinning from ear to ear when I walk up to it.

Thanks for this thread and nice car!

I've got a 318is as well and bought style 5's and the same adapters and I'm about that low. Haha it's good to get a sneak peek as to what my car will look like after the winter

Cool! I've had like 5 people PM me asking questions which are going to be running this exact wheel/adapter setup, it's going to be a pretty common thing here pretty soon. I personally think these wheels just look great on e30's.

Wow, I love this build. I am also in the boat of that wheel/spacer set up. I was running it for awhile until the weaves went on with winter wheels. I have my roof rack feet sitting in my room, planning to build a rack similar to yours in the next few weeks after finals.

                              keep up the great work.
