What tyres you gonna run? Can't get much in the way of street tyres for 225/45/16 that's why I opted for non staggered

yes sir. if you notice the tires on the 2 wheels in front of are stretched a bit. owner had these on a flared 2002.. probably why there's curb rash on one of them.

business end corrosion on center itbs, probably heat related? will need to sandblast and refinish at some point
EDIT: turns out it's just a coat of paint on the housings. gonna wire brush it off.

I ended up mounting the manifold adapters first, then the 3 pairs of ITBs. I did have to pull an end cap off the front ITB to get it to clear the thermostat housing. Will grind off a corner of it and install later.

cooling system is all set. I had a spare m20 heater hose 64211380527 from my other car which I used the center of to extend the current upper heater core hose. It wrapped around the #6 plenum runner nicely. Also had to bend the heater core pipe carefully up and towards the center of the car, but it cleared fine without cutting.

here's the heater hose installed - will need to make sure I didn't damage my heater core bending the pipe..

there is some minor interference with the thermostat housing connector. I can cut the corner of it off but I don't like messing with my harness so if I can get it to seal properly with teflon tape I'll just turn the sensor a bit. Yes I'm that anal.

after trying multiple approaches to get the plenum on the best option was this:
    1) replace the heater hose with the longer one and install
    2) place all the rubber couplings on the plenum
    3) align the #6 runner between the upper and lower rad hoses, then line up the rest

I spent several hours modifying the m20 airbox to take the m30 AFM. came out very well. but unfortunately the dbilas plenum sticks way outboard and above the AFM when mounting using the stock brackets. So I may end up with a cone filter directly on the AFM after all...

force fit everything. need to take better pics from top and side to see the issue.

you can see the height difference of the plenum duct and the AFM here, also the 19# mustang injectors.

next up are all the 5 vacuum connections underneath and replacing my fuel supply and return hoses with longer ones. Alot of room under the plenum.. and it's not that bad near the brake booster either.

nice glamour shots here - starting to come together.

check out all the room for a supercharger... :-)

Thinking about this further, it's still going to be a problem. Whichever cable is pulling will introduce slack in the other. the stock linkage allows this other cable to slip. Will need to incorporate something like that on both throttle wheels

The 2nd throttle cable wheel will go above the spring in the center
(linkage is loose in the pics, a little out of alignment)

closeup of the existing throttle wheel

now if I can just get dbilas to respond to my mail - nothing in 2-3 weeks.

that linkage looks really rough/crappy doesn't it? nothing like the catalog photos.
it does works smoothly, just looks hacked together.
