its going to be lowered once everything is sorted out. i bought it for 2400 out the door, which is pretty good since i don't have to deal with smog and dmw fees paid for.

Loving the simple restoration! This looks like it would be a great DD! Plans for any mods, or leaving it stock?

before the night light up, i tackled the dash, vents and center console. it was getting dark so i couldn't get any good pictures of the aftermath.

                      on to the dirty vents

                      see the difference

                      ear swabs does the job

also my trunk was missing a lens for the lamp so i went to pnp and got one + many other small items.

                      more like it

tomorrow or so i'll give the egine bay a good detail

while trying to figure out the ews2 bypass, i replaced couple things

i got some clips for the door sill as they were missing when i bought the car, although the sill did came with the car.

                        look much better now

the clutch pedal cover was in bad shape. i had an e36 one laying around and it fit like a charm.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DO ANY CUTTING
dam ews system. don't mind the cut green wire, it was solder back together. to bypass the ews2 system, locate the ews module, its under neat the driver side dash. cut the two big blk/yellow and connect them together. go to the engine bay and open up the round plug next to the brake fluid reservoir. cut the small green wire (you'll see a small #7 print on the black housing). from this point it should crank but won't start. once you sourced a red label 413 dme or a red label 413 chip (plug it into your existing ews2 dme), it should start right up.

i wanted to weight the car so today i went to the local recycling center and recycled some metals. after calculation, the 525i is at 3320 lbs without me inside, no spare tire and 1/4 tank of gas.
