Well, something else came in the mail today. Two 370mm mtech 2s that were briefly up for sale on the forums. Thanks Amit. Plan is to have the worn one redone.

nice man... you should consider flocking the dash and the rear parcel shelf... maybe the mtech 2 wheel (minus the horn area) sweet car none the less
10 minutes... then we invade China.
We'll begin with the small town of General Tso's,
And move to the Orange chicken province.

I've been getting some nice things in the mail, but this might take the cake.

The plan is to hopefully redo my sport seats+m3 seats with this and make shift boots with what ever is left.

Did a few little things yesterday. First thing I did was replace the pass door seal as the fuzzy part has been seperated and hanging since I got the car. I broke the the door sill in the process, so that's nice. Not the best clips BMW had ever used -___- Then I got robertks Motorsport handles in the mail !
Everytime I looked to the right I saw this hanging down...glad its fixed now.

So I figured Id post a little update since its been awhile. Also I went through some posts and updated pictures with whatever I happened to upload on flickr. My photobucket stuff should be back up on the 17th but I wont be using that as of now anymore.

I managed to find a new center console (currently backordered everywhere) on ebay from bmwmercedes so I jumped on it. Any guess which one is the old one?

I decided to put the leather mtech 2 horn button on. Not sure why I didn't prefer it at first. For some reason this picture makes me want to convert to black interior.

I bought a trunk light w/ led bulbs. Couldnt get the other side working for some reason but really one side with an led makes quite the difference. I tried taking a before shot but the light was so dim it was just black! lol

And a picture from a bubble tea trip. 8)

Well I got some stuff this weekend.

E82/88 rubber floor mats. This seriously fit perfectly. I prefer them over weather tech because of how low my clutch engages...

They are a little thinner than the weather tech mats, so they fold around the dead pedal area better. My clutch pedal would catch on the weather tech mat

I got this coin tray that goes in your door pocket. Kinda cool I guess lol

Finally installed the knee panel that I've had since I bought the car. Is there another screw/rivet other than the top three screws? Thought I was missing that so I never put it in.

Probably going to plastidip this to refresh it.

Then I replaced the hood insulation. The actually insulation scrapped off easy, but the glue was on there good. I think it will be fine.

                  Some updates...

-M3 is in storage, so e30 now has a garage spot :)
-Still havent bought snow tires for e30
-Im currently sourcing black interior parts, all im missing are front seats. Got cards, and speaker covers on the way. Have an m3 rear seat already (most likely will be reupholstered)

-Sold the mtech 2 wheel I was using in my car, replaced with 4 spoke wheel for the winter so I can use dirty gloves on it. Keeping the new mtech 2 with the leather horn stored away for now

-I bought an e30 locking gas cap

-my euroweaves are still waiting patiently for tires. cant wait to finally throw these on

-I fitted the euro plate filler.

And here she is, out and about

Got some good stuff in the mail yesterday. I recieved my boots from josh, an alpina shift knob, and black kick panels (not pictured).

                    Alpina knob

The boots, with the mtech 2. They match very well.

I bought a leather e brake handle almost a year ago. Finally get to use it.

I think a wooden e brake handle to match shift knob would look much better, but then your steering wheel would look off..go everything wood :-)

Yeah I know it kinda looks out of place. I was hoping it would be a little darker. When I get a short shifter ill get a zhp knob, that will match a little better. The alpina knob will probably sit in my cool part collection unless I sell it :p

This is a pathetic update, with no pictures, but want to still keep track of some things that happened.

So on 1/9/14, I woke up to a flat front pass tire. Its been slowly leaking since I can remember, so I threw the spare on and tried to go to work. Well, my spare was flat too. So I had to find a ride. I ended up getting two new tires which I put on the rear, then moved my other wheels around. After doing so, I know have 4 good tires on the car and a good spare, so things worked out okay there.

Another positive that came from that was I realized what gave me the crazy shakes on the freeway. The right wheel was way out of balance! Because with the new tires, the car drives nice and straight.

I also switched out the bmw 5w-30 for castrol 0w-30. (206,140mi.) Never EVER using bmw 5w30 again. Crappiest oil period.

Well things are a little different now.

The car currently has a e30 m3 interior in.

Also got a set of 14" weaves for it

Ive replaced a few little things here and there since my last update, but just recently I made a not so little change.

Huge thanks to Erik as this wouldn't have happened without him.

Empty, and dirty. I cleaned up everything real nice afterwards.

                            And suddenly...M52. :)

I didn't take a lot of pictures, but heres some main points of the swap:
                            -M42 Radiator
-Reused G260 (trans brace from garagistic)
-Discovered recently replaced reman. driveshaft (~$900 value)
-Replaced the csb as it was SHOT. Guibo was perfect
                            -New shifter components, z3 lever

Still have some tidying left to do in the engine bay, but its a clean looking swap with the m42 radiator setup.
