intercooler is here, bought a cxracing 21"x9"x2.75" as I saw on blunttech 318is thread and some others...

installed my wideband last monday night, Im running right now 30lb/hr, 540i maf, and a miller war chip with a vortech tune, it gets real rich (10.5-9.8:1) everywhere if I get 1/2 gas or more...another day the check engine will go off with key on engine off, then it stayed lit the next day and the car ran again, I haven't been able to upload or download my tunes after that, now that I know it's running rich... Im having 2nd toughts about miller... maybe rktunes or trm when I have it turboed?

I haven't made the car to work good with the supercharger, I can't get at wot from 4000 to 6000rpms, only when cold the car runs great, and the check engine goes on when that happens, the first code I get is 1215 (maf sensor) then knock sensor bank 2, and o2 sensor rich...
I think i has to be something with the map I have, the vortech supercharger makes boost sooner than the bd11, I'm having some problems with the software too, I can't upload the vortech map from their war room, and whatever file I open, I get the same values on all maps... weird...
anyways, what do most e30s with 24v and superchargers do next?...

I used an eurotuning chip for some weeks, then I got dme fault code, maf code, etc... bought new maf, and the same... the car didn't run well.. so I went with a war chip..


the supercharger kit had 24lb/hr, the war chip uses the vortech supercharger map with 30lb/hr..


bye bye nitrous buttons, used them when I had the m42..

needed to modify my radiator


went out to test it and noted no difference, unfortunately the supercharger needed a rebuild...

some "while there bearings"...










and we got boost!!

just two months after I made the saw, I needed more, so I bought a powerdyne bd11 from another friend, out of his '95 m3
started modifying the abs bracket..




scored and 13 button obc..

I already have an innovate gauge, so I just bought the controller and o2 sensor..

ordered a parallel flow condenser with the correct part no, and got a tube and fin one... seller said that was the correct one... :roll:
